Canine Play Workshops 2026

In collaboration with DRIVELINE -

Create a strong bond with your dog through play & learn how to add structured play into your training.

Build drive, motivation and unlock a whole new way to reward your dog.

Our 2 hour play workshop will include food based play, chase games and unlock their drive for toys.

Why is Play so important?

1. Fulfilling Natural Predatory Needs
Structured play gives dogs a safe, controlled outlet for their natural predatory instincts. Activities like tug, chasing, or scent-based games allow them to engage these drives in healthy ways, reducing frustration and preventing unwanted behaviours at home. When dogs can “be dogs” through guided play, their overall wellbeing improves.

2. Building Impulse Control & Confidence
Play isn’t just excitement—it’s an opportunity to teach dogs how to stay calm, wait their turn, and follow cues even when they’re highly motivated. By weaving rules and boundaries into games, dogs learn to manage arousal levels and respond reliably, which carries over into real-life situations. Similarly, play is an incredibly way of building a dogs confidence in situations they may find scary - around other dogs, people or in new or busy environments.

3. Strengthening your Relationship with your dog
Structured play creates positive, cooperative interactions that deepen trust between you and your dog. When dogs learn that you control access to fun in a fair and consistent way, they become more engaged, more responsive, and more connected. We can work with our dogs, rather than against them.
