Frequently Asked Questions
We do both! I often work on Zoom with rescue dogs across the UK to set owners up for success for when foreign rescue dogs arrive. I have also worked with multiple owners on puppy development online as well as reactivity support and training approaches. However I love to work in person and now that I am back in the south east of england, this is where I'm doing all of my in person training work.
I mostly work on a 1-1 basis with clients, however we also have some exciting group opportunities both for training and socialising dogs well.
Please have a look at our group classes and dog sports sections to see what you can get involved in.
Lots of high value treats, your dog's favourite toy, a longline, a short lead, your usual walking equipment and if you have a treat pouch that is even better!!!

We will start off with an hour and a half behavioural assessment in which I will see what behaviours you're struggling with and get to know you and your dog a bit better. Following this assessment, I'll create a training plan that we will be able to go through over the following few weeks, taking into consideration of your dogs biological needs, outlets for behaviours and obedience alongside controlled exposure of triggers (depends on what we're working on).
For the plan to work, you have to be committed to the programme and follow advise as best you can.
Yes, we provide unlimited WhatsApp support between sessions. You can reach out with any questions or concerns, and we will offer guidance and advice to ensure continued progress.
It's important that with training such as behaviour modification this can take time, however if you feel you are not making progress we can always troubleshoot the current training plan and find out what exactly you're struggling with. We can make altercations along the way. Every single dog is different and it's important to know that not every training strategy will work for every dog. So during the training process, if you feel something isn't working we can always adapt it. All difficulties need to be communicated so that we can help you and your dog and with our continuous WhatsApp support this is super easy to do.
At Nina's Wolfpack we use science backed training methods. The majority of our work is positive reinforcement based while also giving clear communication for dog by creating boundaries.
We take the time to fully understand your dog and their needs and assess every dogs individual motivators and drives, as well as your lifestyle and availability for training or behaviour modification so that we can work with both you and your dog and create a plan that will succeed.

A: Mantrailing is a specialized training activity where dogs are taught to find a specific person's scent, typically using a scent article such as a piece of clothing. This activity harnesses a dog's natural tracking abilities and is both mentally stimulating and physically engaging for your canine companion. At Nina's Wolfpack, we're excited to offer mantrailing workshops and group classes starting from March. These sessions are designed to develop your dog's tracking skills in a fun and supportive environment, making it an excellent way for dog owners to bond with their pets while enhancing their abilities. Be sure to check our website or contact us directly to secure your spot in our upcoming classes!
A: Canicross is an exciting and dynamic sport that involves running with your dog, both human and canine connected by a bungee cord attached to a harness. It's a fantastic way to bond with your dog while both of you stay fit and healthy. At Nina's Wolfpack, we offer an 8-week Canicross course designed like a couch-to-5k program. This beginner-friendly course covers all the essential commands and progressively builds up your and your dog's fitness levels, ensuring you're both ready to tackle a 5k by the end. Join us to experience the thrill and camaraderie of Canicross while forming a stronger bond with your furry friend!
A: At Nina's Wolfpack, we aim to build confidence in both dogs and owners through our specially designed obedience classes & Training Clubs! We offer the Puppy Club, tailored for puppies up to 5 months old, providing a foundation of essential skills and socialization.
Then we have "The Training Club" which is open to dogs of any age and breed. It includes three progressive levels: Bronze, Silver, and Gold - Head on over to our "Training Classes" page for an outline of what is covered in the classes.
These classes are all held at the beautiful Bedgebury Pinetum, providing an ideal environment for learning and fun and these classes are designed to teach your dog to listen while around real world distractions. Join us and experience the joy of a well-trained pup with Nina's Wolfpack!
A: At Nina's Wolfpack, we offer two types of pack walks to accommodate different needs and preferences. First, our private pack walk is exclusively available to clients who have previously worked with us. This option provides a familiar and controlled environment for dogs who may need a bit more attention or are more comfortable around known companions.
Alternatively, we host an open pack walk at Bedgebury Pinetum on the last Saturday of every month. This is a fantastic opportunity for both new and returning clients to socialize their dogs in a larger group setting. The open pack walk not only provides excellent socialization opportunities for your dog but also offers a chance for you to connect with other dog owners in the community. Each type of walk emphasises neutrality, exercise, and the reinforcement of training in a real-world setting, ensuring a well-rounded experience for your dog!
