Strays Without Borders
What We Do:
We are collaborating with Strays Without Borders to provide support to owners who have rehomed street dogs from North Macedonia.
I have a passion for street dogs and foreign rescues since adopting my own boy Arlo four years ago from Bulgaria and we have worked through many behavioural issues people struggle with when it comes to integrating foreign rescues into their new home including fear behaviours towards humans and other dogs, reactivity and aggression, resource guarding and separation anxiety.

We work together to give continuous support to adopters and fosterers after their dogs have arrived in the UK. Starting with a pre-adoption webinar in which we discuss integrating other animals in their home, relationships with children, what to expect in the first few days/weeks and also the most common behavioural challenges we see in foreign rescue dogs and ex street dogs. This sets our new adopters up with what to expect and once the dogs have settled in we continue with 2 follow up sessions to make sure all is going well. With continuous WhatsApp support to owners and communication between myself and the Strays Without Borders team, we aim to make sure every adopter and fosterer feels confident and for the dogs to thrive in their new homes.
