The Puppy Club

Socialising your puppy is far more than just meeting and interacting with other dogs. It also involves training at every stage of life and building confidence and behaviours that will last. So we have a new and well rounded way of making sure your puppy is confident with the world around them. Our Puppy Club!

We work around distractions and train for the real world from day one! At the amazing venue of Bedgebury Pinetum & Forest, we run our puppy clubs with the aim of practicing training such as lead skills, recall, stay/wait and also train in specific areas around unknown dogs/walkers practicing engagement and in the cafe teaching our puppies to settle!

6 Week Course - Thursday mornings at 10am​

Location: Bedgebury Pinetum & Forest, Flimwell

What's Included?

  • We work on basic obedience such as Sit, Down, Wait & Come

  • We teach your puppy to engage with you and listen while around distractions.​

  • We start conditioning settling in the cafe

  • We will be collaborating with a local riding stables to socialise your dog with one of their horses and teach your puppy to normalise horses & not chase them.

  • And of course, how to socialise your puppy with other dogs but also be able to walk past and ignore other dogs. This creates a well rounded a calm dog and helps to avoid reactivity.

Puppies up to 6 months old

You will need:

  1. Lots of tasty treats​ (+ a treat pouch)

  2. A short lead

  3. A longline

  4. A settle mat

  5. Harness or Flat Collar
