I take a holistic approach to training, assessing your needs and the needs of your dog in terms of motivators, lifestyle and what you're struggling with.
I've worked with hundreds of dogs with a range of issues as well as with rescue organisations to help dogs all over the UK and abroad and I love to help owners overcome their training challenges to live full and adventurous lives with their dogs!
My aim is to help you and your dog long term and for you, the owner and handler, to feel confident working with your dog. We build a strong relationship through communication, breed specific outlets and fun!​
My approach is not strict or punitive, it focusses on building the best relationship with your canine best friend and working through issues together.

Our in person and online training services are outlined below. In Person training is available in around West Kent/East Sussex areas. If there is somewhere specific you would like to train, please let me know.

Initial Consultation
Our initial consultation is necessary to fully understand your dog, what you're struggling with and to be able to make a training plan that will work for you.
For complex behavioural issues, this will give us a good start point to work from and create a training plan from including look at any medical concerns, your lifestyle and how to structure training to work for you and to know what motivates your dog.

For more simple obedience or training issues, it gives us time to fully work on the issues at hand, overcoming many of them and giving you a good base for you to continue to work on at home.

Follow up Sessions & Packages
A single session is 1 hour in which we continue to work on the behaviours you're struggling with.
After we have set in the groundwork with our initial consultation, you have the option of training packages.
+3 Session Package:
This enables us to develop your training and work through a training plan together - this is perfect for obedience, recall, lead walking, cooperative care or a specific issue you're struggling with.

+5 Session Package -
This package is perfect to work through more complex issues. From the initial consultation, we will create a training plan encompassing relevant desensitisation and obedience.

Pack Walks & Social Groups
Our pack walks are held once a month at Bedgebury Pinetum and we meet in the car park, get dogs a bit settled and then head out for a relaxed neutral walk with some fun training exercises along the way. We work really hard as a group to make sure all dogs are comfortable and everyone respects each other's space.
The group will be mixed with nervous dogs and social dogs, all aiming for 1 thing... Neutrality!

Our social training groups run weekly on a Thursday evening and we hang out, teach our dogs new things whether it be play, scentwork, shaping, obedience or a new skill/concept.

Depending on location there could be additional parking charges.

Mantrailing & Canicross
Our mantrailing and canicross groups start February and March next year and are an amazing way to get out in nature with your dog. Any breeds welcome. We have a variety of options to choose from so whether you're a complete beginner or experienced runner or mantrailer, you can join us on one of our groups!

Group Classes
Starting in March we will have multiple group classes. Firstly Puppy Club which will be hosted at bedgebury pinetum and forest in which we'll explore with your puppy, work on obedience even around distractions and build their confidence.

Then we have the level classes in which we work through foundations & intermediate training in which any age dog can join, so if you missed the puppy classes, got a rescue with no previous training or have a puppy looking to learn the basics, this is the perfect class. Following on from this is our intermediate group in which we work towards more advanced training skills, and finally our private group which is our over achievers - this class varies in location to proof your dogs training in different places & with different distractions. All of these classes are 6 weeks.

Reactivity Package
We know how difficult reactivity can be and we want to help owners overcome it, rather than just manage it. We utilise balanced, science based training methods to give your dog the right feedback, build communication and relationship and get you to a point of trusting your dog again.
It is an 8 week programme starting with a 2 hour consultation at your home/out on a walk. We meet you and your dog, discuss all elements of your day to day routine that maybe effecting their behaviour and make a plan from there. We discuss diet, exercise, rest, routine, breed specific fulfilment as well as teach vital obedience cues to navigate the world with your dog and overcome their reactivity through counter conditioning.
This programme also gives you discounts on pack walks, training socials and following courses so that you can see the community in training your dog and we can help each other improve and overcome challenging behaviours.
