This is 6 training sessions spread over 2 weeks to enable your dog to gain off lead freedom.
The Ecollar can be a brilliant tool to gain responsible off lead freedom for even prey driven dogs, however it takes good conditioning and a good understanding of markers, pressure and lots of positive reinforcement through play and food.
Off Lead Reliability
6x 1-1 sessions in varying locations increasing in distraction.

The first session is dedicated to teaching a strong marker system, recall cues and building good engagement and relationship through toys and food. Once your dog has a good understanding of the cues, we layer the ecollar over so that the tool is fully understood and conditioned correctly.

After session 4 we aim to work your dog around distractions of prey, different or challenging environments and start to have them off lead more and more with your gaining full control of their training.

Understanding the E-Collar
Understanding the E-collar - a workshop dedicated to giving more information to open minded dog owners, trainers and those wanting to broaden their skill set and improve the lives of their dogs.
The Ecollar gets a bad reputation online and a lot of this comes from a lack of knowledge about the tool or witnessing poor handling or unfair treatment of dogs while someone is using the Ecollar.
This if not a fair representation of what the Ecollar can be used for and more education needs to be around the proper conditioning and the fair and ethical handling of the tool.
So come along while we do a deep dive into learning theory, handle and feel an Ecollar and see happy and fulfilled Ecollar trained dogs and how we use them.
